Are you interested in helping provide support to other families who have a loved one living with a mental illness? Do you have experience navigating the mental health system in B.C.? Are you a good communicator and keen to learn how to facilitate group discussions?

Pathways is looking for compassionate and empathetic volunteers to work in the heart of our operation and provide peer support as well as volunteers to facilitate our monthly support groups. All support groups are currently delivered online via Zoom. We will provide training and tech support to help you deliver the session seamlessly.

Join us for the first in a three-part series of FREE training sessions. In our first module you will learn the principles and dynamics of peer support and what trauma-informed practice entails.

Learn to host peer support group sessions and one-to-one peer support sessions for families with a loved one with a serious mental illness, using your personal experience with your own family.
