HeadsUpGuys is an online resource that supports men in their fight against depression and suicide by providing tips, tools, information about professional services, and personal recovery stories. It also provides guidance for those who are supporting a man in their lives who is struggling with depression. Unique in Canada and now a global leader, HeadsUpGuys offers a men-friendly medium through which to start the help-seeking process, and serves as an upstream approach to tackling suicidality among men. This presentation will provide an overview of this unique men’s mental health resource.
Who Should Attend: Families, significant others and friends of a loved one with a serious mental illness who resides in British Columbia.
