This presentation is an introduction to the Car87/88 Program. It will provide an understanding of who Car 87/88 is, what they are able to do, information about the program and how to access them.
This is an educational session with the goal of providing listeners with a better understanding that Car 87/88 is an emergency/crisis intervention service that may be able to assist them.
Please note that Car 87/88 only covers the City of Vancouver. As well, The main purpose of this presentation is public education. We certainly welcome feedback however if a family wants to discuss a personal matter or situation regarding Car87/88 that they are unhappy with, we may take that offline for another time as a private discussion.*Contact information will be provided for who to reach out to*
Who Should Attend: Families, significant others and friends of a loved one with a serious mental illness who resides in British Columbia.
